unit 3 vocabulary

Emperor: was a person that used to rule an empire.

Charriot: was a vehicle that was pulled by a horse and had two wheels.
Coliseum: was  place where gladiators and animals used to fight.
Gladiator: was people that went to fight at the coliseum with animals or other gladiators.

Hieroglyphics: were texts that used pictures instead of words.

Mummy: as the body of a dead person that died many years ago.
Temple: was a place were the Greeks worshipped their gods and goddesses.

Pharaoh: was a peson that used to rule the egyptian empire.

Pyramid: was a place where egyptians used to burry the pharaohs
Statue: was an object that represented the human figure
Slave: was a person that was owned by an other person.


Tomb: is a place where dead people rest.

Detective: person who investigate the crimes.

footprints: prints of the feet.

suspect: person who seems to be guilty of a crime.

thief: person who steal things. 

fingerprint: a print of the finger.

clue: is a thing that helps to solve a crime.

magnifying glass: is a thing who helps to see bigger.



rob: action of steal.

witness: person who see or hear a crime.

victim: a personwho was attacked from part of the thief.
